Trainings:

We train on the Kaipara River. Our access is via Kaipara Cruising and Sportfishing Club (KCSC), 84-86 Mill Road, Helensville (opposite Forge Fitness - Helensville Gym. Driveway beside Mr Pizza).

We are governed by the tide for training which means we train Saturday and Sunday either morning or afternoon around high tide, or between 5-6pm through the week during daylight saving. Our monthly training schedule is available on this website under the 'Training' tab.

Parking - Please be aware Kaipara Cruising & Sportfishing Club have kindly donated our Clubroom and Storage area for all our waka and equipment. Their premises are private property. All paddlers are required to park in designated areas. Please respect this request as KCSC members take first priority especially on the weekends.

Membership Fees:

Membership Fees for the season are $150.00 per paddler (1st October 2024 - 30th September 2025). This fee covers affiliation to Waka Ama NZ, affiliation to Auckland Region Outrigger Canoe Association (AROCA), towing waka to and from events, and all costs associated with administration, maintenance and annual expenses.
